The only thing I hated, which is something you couldn't do much about was the fact that FSX wouldn't run fast on modern computers. When I'd use the automatic landing it'd do the job correctly every time, flaring at the right moment, or if I put the throttles all the way forward it would do the automatic go-around. Only when the weather was poor I'd use the ILS. I used to do the approaches manually because I knew them well and I had good sceneries, I could use visual references along with the various navigational aids. Though it flies flower than it's supposed to do. Many sceneries are not good enough: sometimes ILS simply don't work.
